Features and advantages

Reliable optical monitoring of chemical and physical characteristics of liquids, gases, and solids at max. pressures from 100 up to 7,000 bar. Sapphire windows in optically flat, specially tempered and pressure-resistant quality. Colourless sapphire, applicable also in the UV range. Monitoring is possible with high-speed or video cameras, laser technique, spectroscopy, etc. Optical cells with different optical path lengths (distance between inside faces of two windows). With replaceable sapphire holders the optical path length may be reduced. Optical widths available: from  6 mm to  28 mm. Max. working temperatures are: 120°C to 500°C Materials in stainless steels AISI 316Ti, 17-4 PH, or Nimonic, titanium, etc., depending on service conditions. Single window units in different designs and sizes. Heated optical cells with pressure-balanced piston to maintain the test pressure during sampling operation. Optical probes and cells for concentration measurements. For quotations please state: Max. working pressure and temperature, optical width and path length, heating and similar standard optical cell.
